Terms of use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Application

These terms govern your access to and use of this website, operated by Colin Cunio Solicitors Pty Ltd (ABN 43 611 695 839) trading as Strata Specialist Lawyers ("we", "us"). By using the website you accept these terms. We may vary them from time to time by publishing the amended terms on this page.

Purpose of this website

The website provides general information about our services and facilities for submitting enquiries and instructions. The information on it is general in nature, is not legal advice, and may not reflect the most recent developments in the law. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on anything on this website without obtaining advice on your own circumstances.

No retainer from use of the website

Using this website, sending an enquiry, or submitting our online matter form does not create a solicitor–client relationship. A retainer is established only when we confirm acceptance of your matter in writing. Until then, information you send us is handled in accordance with our privacy policy, including for conflict-of-interest checking, but we are not acting for you.

Fees and payment

Fixed fees stated on this website are inclusive of GST and are current as at the date of publication. They apply to matters within the described scope; if your matter falls outside that scope, we will tell you before any chargeable work starts. For our fixed cost by-law services, our invoice issues on completion of the work, and the completed work is provided — or, for registrations, the dealing is lodged — on payment.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to us. You may access it for your reasonable personal use, but must not otherwise reproduce, publish or commercially exploit it without our prior written consent.

Third-party material and links

Links to other websites are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of linked sites, and a link is not an endorsement.

Liability

We take reasonable care in preparing this website but do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, up to date, or free of errors, viruses or interruptions. To the full extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Where legislation implies a guarantee or warranty that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, to the extent the law allows, to resupplying the relevant material. Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. We practise law in New South Wales and do not represent that we are entitled to provide legal services in other jurisdictions.

Severability and contact

If any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down or severed, and the rest continues in effect. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@strataspecialistlawyers.com or (02) 9089 8706.
